Christmas is a special time for us because it brings our thoughts to Jesus Christ and His birth. We love the peaceful feeling that comes with this season and the spirit of giving that seems to fill everyone’s hearts. Celebrating the Savior reminds us of the hope and love He brings into our lives.

We also love seeing the happiness of children at Christmastime — it helps us feel the joy and wonder of the season all over again. And the music we get to sing adds so much to that feeling. We love the song “Witness of Christmas.” It is a new song this year, and we have been teaching it to our Primary children. We feel the Spirit each time they sing it. “Mary, Did You Know?” is also a favorite. We love the version sung by One Voice Children’s Choir because former students are part of this group.

For us, Christmas is a time to feel closer to Christ, to appreciate His gift to the world, and to share His love with others.
