Hello friends, family, and visitors,
I’m so glad you’re here for another year of the Christmas Music Advent Calendar. Whether this is your fourth year following along or your first time visiting, thank you for celebrating the season with me through music and faith in Jesus Christ.
Over the years, we’ve explored Christmas through Scripture, Quotes, and Titles of Christ — all centered on our Savior. Each theme has been deeply meaningful, but this year’s feels especially personal.
For 2025, the theme is “Music and Testimonies of Christ.” I’ve invited family and close friends to share their favorite Christmas songs along with a short reflection or testimony of why those songs matter to them. I wish I could have included even more people — there just weren’t enough days in December! Still, I couldn’t help myself and took several days to share some of my own favorite songs and reflections as well. I’ve come across so much meaningful and uplifting Christmas music that I couldn’t resist adding a few of my own selections to the mix.
My hope is that these songs and stories will lift your heart, strengthen your faith, and remind you of the sacred truth that He lives — and while He lives, we’ll sing.
Each day in December features:
A brief reflection or testimony from myself, one or two of my friends or family
Christ-centered Christmas songs
Song links to listen on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music
This little project has reached people all over the world, and I’m so grateful for everyone who has shared their encouragement and music suggestions along the way. If you’d like to share a favorite Christmas song that inspires you, please reach out — I’d love to include it on the Bonus Music page!
Thank you for being part of this tradition. May this season draw us closer to Jesus Christ, fill our homes with peace, and remind us that through music, we can bear testimony of Him together.
Sincerely,
Dayton B. Martindale
